• Real-time GPS coordinates during race recording

Race Data

• Race recordings including track data, timestamps, and performance metrics
• Course information and mark roundings
• Race notes and photos

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide sailing navigation and race recording features
• Save and display your race history
• Enable social features (following other sailors, sharing races)
• Send authentication emails (sign-in codes)
• Process subscription payments
• Improve and develop new features

We use the following third-party services to operate Sail Robin:

Supabase (Database & Authentication)

• Stores your account data, race recordings, and profile information
• Handles secure authentication

• Processes subscription payments
• We do not store your credit card details — Paddle handles all payment information securely

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal information. Your data may be shared in these limited circumstances:

• Public profile: Your username, display name, boat info, and public races may be visible to other Sail Robin users
• Service providers: With third-party services listed above, solely to operate the app
• Legal requirements: If required by law or to protect our rights

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can delete your account at any time through the app settings. When you request account deletion:

• Your account is scheduled for permanent deletion after a 30-day grace period
• During this period, you can sign back in to cancel the deletion
• After 30 days, all your data is permanently deleted

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your data:

• All data is transmitted over encrypted HTTPS connections
• Passwords are never stored — we use secure email-based authentication
• Database access is protected by row-level security policies

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access: View all data associated with your account
• Correction: Update your profile and boat information at any time
• Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data
• Export: Request a copy of your data by contacting us

8. Children's Privacy

Sail Robin is not intended for children under 13. You must be at least 16 years old to create an account and use Sail Robin independently. If you are between 13 and 15 years of age, you may only use the app with the consent and supervision of a parent or legal guardian. In such cases, the parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the app and any personal data collected.

We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us immediately at info@sailrobin.com and we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes by posting the new policy in the app and updating the "Last updated" date.
