Inflatable windward marks, dropped buoys, RC-set committee marks — we don't have to know where they are in advance. Tag them on the water using one of two methods.
One tap as you sail past the mark. Sail Robin captures your current GPS position as the mark’s location and pins it to the chart for the rest of the race.
Best for inflatable windward marks set just before the start.
Sail Robin does the haversine math and drops the mark in the right spot without you having to sail up to it.
Best for marks set out by the RC before crews arrive.
Once tagged, the mark behaves like any pre-loaded mark — leg distances calculate live, gate detection works in replay, and other boats on the same race share the position. Works at every venue, with or without a pre-loaded course library.
We add venues based on real demand. Drop us a note with your club, your home waters and the kind of racing you do, and we’ll get back to you about adding it.
